Lesson #1: Don't put your brand new beautiful waffle weave duvet cover on your bed the night before your first day of work. If this advice is not heeded, it's possible that you might somehow wrap your duvet under your cheek, and wake up looking like a 'leggo my eggo' freak. Results might also include driving to work, rubbing your cheek furiously to remove waffle dents.(And, no, that's not an actual picture of my duvet - I may be a nerd but I'm not THAT much of a nerd. Besides, I'm a working girl now and don't have time to take silly pictures... at least for today).
