We had a great (fun!) and busy weekend.
Saturday was our friend's wedding in Missisauga. It was a beautiful day, despite a few torrential showers, and we had a lovely, lovely time. Except for Evy in this photo, when I tried to take her cookie away:
Cookie-monsters notwithstanding, we scrubbed up pretty good and didn't disgrace ourselves. Evy even crashed out and slept for 2 hours in a stranger's playpen. Good times!
Just prior to the wedding, we made a stop in Etobicoke where we met Jax, our friend's beautiful son. Evy was QUITE smitten with him and was being a bold little madam, hugging and kissing him. Very cute.
Sunday, it was some time for fun at the cottage. It wasn't a hot day, compared to recent weather, but that didn't stop a dozen or so family members from taking to the lake for some splashy fun.
Captain Evy, who is a total waterbaby (just like her cousins) quite enjoyed piloting the broken styrofoam boat (circa 1960, thanks for breaking it, Jim).
Lots more fun to come this weekend, though it feels like the summer is going by a bit too quickly!
ALTHOUGH, I'm quite looking forward to happenings around a month from now - big sissy moving to the area code and a fun beach wedding in Cape Breton! Woot woot!
