Nesting?

I would like to pretend that yesterday's craft blitz was 'nesting' (especially since it involves birds, har har) but I don't think you can call hacking up an old battered Audubon book with a kitchen knife and inserting pages into frames from Dollarama can really be considered crafting. At least in the Martha Stewart sense of the world.

Yet, even with all that malaise, the finished products are kinda awesome and will live on the wall of the new baby's room. Still going with a seashore theme in there, so love these feathered friends. And yes, I realize that cardinals aren't really 'water birds', but I love their jaunty redness, so they got framed too.




In terms of the room, holes for insulation drilled, closet re-jigged, wiring completed - all done by a very busy Rob. It's gonna be fabulous when it's done. Will post pics as soon as there's some esthetically pleasing progress!

Happy first day of Spring everyone! Am VERY glad to be bidding farewell to winter.
